House: 10 Feb - 4 Nov:11.00am - 16:30pm 7 days a week

Garden: 10 Feb - 4 Nov: 10.30am - 5.00pm 7 days a week
5 Nov - 30 Dec: 11am - 3pm

Due to major re-servicing work some rooms may be closed periodically and opening times may vary. Wildflower meadow open May to August. Whole property closed 25 to 28 December.

The traditional family home of the Marquess of Anglesey

Situated on the bank of the Menai Strait with magnificent views of Snowdonia. Elegant 18th C house by James Wyatt, contains Rex Whistler’s largest painting and an exhibition of his work. In the Military Museum are campaign relics of the 1st Marquess of Anglesey and the battle of Waterloo. Fine spring garden, summer terrace, and autumn colour.
